The efficiency of this conversion determines how well the transformer controls the voltage output and how much energy is consumed in the process. VOLT's range of transformers, including the 600W, 900W, and 1200W multi-tap models, as well as the 300W clamp connect and slim line models, and the 150W and 100W slim line models, are designed to meet the needs of large landscape lighting systems.

Ideal for large landscape lighting systems, the VOLT 600W Multi-Tap Transformer has four taps (12V, 13V, 14V, and 15V), enabling you to compensate for voltage drop on longer runs or runs with many fixtures. Its toroidal core allows for more reliable, efficient, cooler, and quieter operation than comparable EI laminated types, and it is superior to electronic transformers, which may not be compatible with LED circuits, suffer from extensive voltage loss, and are subject to overheating and premature failure.

The VOLT 600W Multi-Tap Transformer also features a reliable, easy-to-use timer/photocell combo control unit that requires no programming. Simply plug the unit into the transformer and turn the dial to one of the settings, which include ON, OFF, Dusk-to-Dawn, and 4, 6, 8, or 10 hours after dusk.
